On Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, a quiet Muskegon neighborhood became the scene of a high-stakes police rescue. The Muskegon Police Department responded quickly to a report of a woman being held against her will at a home on the 900 block of Evanston Avenue.
Once officers verified the threat, they surrounded the property and made the call to enter. Inside, they found a 36-year-old woman who had been assaulted and was visibly injured. She was transported to Trinity Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
